27 September 1941 No.129 Sqn Spitfire Vb W3824 "HOLT II" Circus 103A Escort to 12 Blenheims (6 of 110 Sqn., 6 of 226 Sqn.) Amiens/Longeau Rail yards. Shot down by Me109. 778253 Sgt (Pilot) Ian Allister SPENCE-ROSS RAFVR - PoW (Camps VIG/III/IVB/VI//357 - PoW No.436) Spence-Ross was a Rhodesian. Col.
