Question about Ukraine Airfields
I seek information regarding Balta Airfiled early 1941, what Soviet units were situated overthere ?
Same about Tatar Bunar and Tuzly ( South East of Kulevtcha and South of Akkerman ).....a historical chart of 55 IAP indicates that this group shortly moved from Balti to Tuzly before moving NE to Crimea during 1941. The Russian historical references seems to be wrong and would appreciate any reliable information from any books which may be available. Both books of G.Retchkalov don't point out anything relevant on Tuzly. |
