KURS MURMANSK by Georges Blond

Hi guys

I have just 'discovered' the existence of an old (1957) German-language book entitled KURS MURMANSK by Georges Blond.

Is this a German version of an English-language publication, or is it written from the German perspective?

Any info appreciated.

Cheers
Brian

Brian,
I did a book search for this, and only found the German language version. So probably originally in German.

Kurs Murmansk Die Schicksalsfahrten der alliierten Eismeer-Konvois

Apparently originally published in 1957 by Stalliing Verlag in Oldenburg, hardback 224 pages. And reprinted in 1981 by Bastei Lübbe in Bergisch Gladbach, soft cover, 242 pages.

Available for prices ranging from $5.42 to 26.30, as seen on addall.com

Enjoy!

Frank.

Thanks Frank

I've just ordered a copy.

My enquiry was - was it written from the German perspective?

Guess I'll know soon!

Cheers

It's an old book the french title is "convoi vers l'URSS", I think it's not the best about this subject.
