Bf 109 White 1 1/JG26 with grasshopper marking
This is similar to the photo on page 20 of Kagero's Bf 109 E vol. II. Note the pennant on the antenna.

According to Larry deZeng and Doug Stankey's 'LW Officer Career Summaries' he did. His 9./JG 52 claims are not accounted for in that source though - and probably like them, I thought he was kind of a non-entity until I saw his name in the Prien, et al "Jagdverbande" volume(s). Certainly not a 'killer' from JG 52, but 10 claims plus his BOB claim with JG 26 is not insignificant.
