FW200 crash Portugal
I found the attached article and photos in a copy of Aeroplane magazine dated 14 March 1941. what intrigued me about this was the fact that this aircraft had been involved in 23 raids on Britain according to the marks on the tail or so the article says. I was under the impression that raids by FW200s were actually very few. Could anyone clarify please?
Many Thanks Keith |

Re: FW200 crash Portugal
It meant in the 'England' Theatre of Ops ie targets in English (sic) waters as opposed to mainland England. I believe this was FW 200 C-1, 0003 F8+DK of 2/KG 40 which was damaged by the sloop Detford & crash landed at Moura, Portugal 8 Feb 41

Re: FW200 crash Portugal
Thank you Chris - it certainly did seem a lot for one aircraft over the mainland
