Re: Higher Command association of following units
Salut!
Don't know about the Erg.NSGr. but the rest were within Luftflotte 1 during their whole existence. At least NSGr 11 was not directly under Lfl 1 but under 3. Fliegerdivision (see also: http://www.ww2.dk/air/hq/3fldiv2.htm ) which itself was subordinated to Lfl 1. I think it was the same with the other units you give. The given OOB (at the homepage) are from dates when the other units didn't exist. The same homepage by Michael Holm used to also have a page about the Erg.Fl.Gr.Ostland but couldn't find it now. The Gruppe was divided (IIRC Aug 1944) to two: Estonian and Latvian schools (Erg.Fl.Gr. Estland and Lettland). The Estonian one was set up at Pärnu (Pernau) and the Latvian one stayed in Liepaja (Libau). Cheers, Kari |

Re: Higher Command association of following units
Hi Kari,
thanks for the reply. Erg.Fl.Gr. Estland is the same, or was also known as, Erg.Fl.Gr. Ostland. I should have made this more clear. Thanks again, much apprechiated, Norbert |
