Re: MAGISTER L8228
Chris
Checking what Peter Amos says in Air Britain's Miles Aircraft Vol 1: Del HAD Henlow 14.7.1938. To 13 MU Henlow 1.3.1940. To Atlantic Coast, Barnstaple (MI) 12.1.1942. To 20MU Aston Down 13.2.1942. To 51 OTU Cranfield 6.3.1942. To 247 Sq Exeter 10.7.1942. Hit hedge on take-off from field 2 miles SE of Burton Bradstock, Devon 6.9.1942 (TT 678:20 F/H) SOC 7.9.1942. No pilots names given or any fate, but I then assume he/they made it. Cheers Stig |
