W/Cmdr Raymond MB Duke-Woolley
Hi all,
Looking for some help locating a decent photo and some information on the service career of RAF Wing Commander Raymond MB Duke-Woolley, who led operations for the 4th Fighter Group in late 1942 after the Eagle Squadrons were transferred to the USAAF. Received a "no joy" from the folks at the RAF Museum in London, and normal searches on the web have turned up little of substance. Along with the photo, we just need some basic personal info and info on his assignments post 4th FG to help fill out his bio/profile page. Info on decorations a plus. We hope to create one for anyone who flew with the 4th - even guys on DS, "guest" or "visiting" pilots. We have over 400 posted now on our site, and we're adding more each month. Duke-Woolley played a pivotal role in the early stages of the 4th Fighter Group's development, and we'd like to be able to honor his contributions accordingly. If you know of source, might you point me in that direction? Thanks for your time. Cheers!

Re: W/Cmdr Raymond MB Duke-Woolley
I've one early-war picture of D-W.
Send a PM and I'll scan a copy of it for you. Unfortunately I know little about his work with the USAAF. BC |
