112sqn losses vs 4/JG27 claims 03.10.41

hi,

i have a question about 112Sqn losses,

i see in Mediterranean Air War of C. Shores that 112 Sqn lost in this date only one plane:
Sgt Ian Harper Stirrat Tomahawk Mk. IIB AK502

but in http://raf-112-squadron.org/planelosses.html
i found:

Tomahawk Mk. IIB AK502 / N/A
Sgt Ian Harper Stirrat, 404186, RAAF
4/10/41
A/C destroyed in combat over Sidi Omar, claimed by Hpt Gerlitz 2/JG27, pilot KIA no Luftwaffe film found some dispute over this claim Jerry Harrison log book has it occurring on 3/10/41 , Escort for Tactical reconnaissance Aircraft- Escorted Hurricanes over Bardia-Capuzzo-Sidi Omar. on the way home jumped by 5 ME109,s Sgt Stirrat shot down in flames, Sgt Carson force landed, claims made by Oberleutenant Rodel and Leutenant Schlacht of 4/JG-27.

Sgt William Edward Carson,404168.RAAF?
or the brother Sgt Kenneth (Kit) Francis Carson, 404233, RAAF?

why the diference in the info??
any aditional info? What is the correct info?

many thanks,
regards
