Sonderkommando Junck (Iraq)

Working on an article on the Iraqi uprising (1941) for my magazine, I am looking for photographs of all German aircraft having taking part in this campaign.
All pictures of interest (apart from the IWM collection) will be duly paid for (with full credit given).

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Chris

You have the ones I sent you but think I might have one of the Bf 110 that was captured (and in RAF markings)

Re: Sonderkommando Junck (Iraq)

Here's a book that covers a part(?) of the mission of the Luftwaffe in Irak. I do not own it.

Martin Drewes: "Sand und Feuer - Jagdflieger im Irak und über Deutschland". NeunundzwanzigSechs Verlag, Moosburg 2011, 300 Seiten.

Usual disclaimer,
Ed

Re: Sonderkommando Junck (Iraq)

And a wiki posting that adds details about the aircraft used with a lot of Jet & Prop references at the bottom of the page.

Re: Sonderkommando Junck (Iraq)

Thank you all.

However, what I am looking for are photographs to be published.
Reasonable fees will be paid at the time of order.
