Can anyone tell me the full translation/title for the following abbreviated unit and where they were based.
1. Nach. Ers. Abt. 20, 7 Komp (NEA 20) 2. I/Nachr. Ers. Abt. 30 (NEA 30) Can anyone suggest any suitable books or references where this information may be recorded. Many thanks, David

They were Heer (Army) replacement units based in Germany...
1. Nachrichten Ersatz Abteilung 20, 7 Kompanie (designation would read 7./Nach.Ers.Abt 20) 2. I Bataillon Nachrichten Ersatz Abteilung 30 Some information here... http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/...Gliederung.htm
