Re: Hungarian Fighter Colours

The publisher (MMP) has finally listed my book today:
http://www.mmpbooks.biz/mmp/books.php?book_id=217

In the meantime, the project has split in two, so now we will have two volumes instead of one. This way, the manuscript and the hundreds of photos we've submitted (way too much for a single volume) do not need to be cut back. Thanks to the Publisher in believing (and investing) in this daring project.

The first volume is estimated to see the light at the printer's in mid-July, while the second one in November.

Here you can see a quick (very quick) overview of the entire book:

Those who would like to lay their hands on the book first are encouraged to order it directly at the publisher.

Re: Hungarian Fighter Colours

The Publisher informed me that the book can now be purchased on-line (free shipping wordwide!):
http://mmpbooks.biz/shop2/product.php?productid=17655

They are on Facebook, too:

P.S. I haven't seen it yet, so I cannot comment on the looks yet...

Re: Hungarian Fighter Colours

Double thanks to you, Srecko!
Once for the kind review, and once more for the colour profiles you drew for the book.

P.S. One minor note: my name is not Dennis Bernard, but as given on this forum: Dénes Bernád (Alter Hase).

Re: Hungarian Fighter Colours

My copy arrived today courtesy of Amazon UK at Ł19.99 as I ordered it last year. Obviously I have not read it and have only flicked through the pages, pausing at some of the illustrations and profiles and reading snippets here and there. My first thoughts are why doesn't MMP make all their titles like this? Such a high quality publication: the illustrations are magnificently rendered, the photos for the most part superbly clear and large enough to see and the quality of the paper stock is superb. My advice to MMP is scrap the other sizes and make only White Series. The lack of an index is the only minus point I can see, however this is redeemed by a photo of Dénes resplendent with luxuriant beard Maybe volume two will have an index for both volumes?

Now I look forward to the read (and Volume 2).
