Fw 190 loss of JG 26?

Gentlemen,
I visited the crashplace of an unknown german a/c today. I spend a lot of hours in identifying this a/c in the last two years, but I couldn't find anything about this loss until today.
The facts are:
timeframe: late August until early October 1943
a/c: definitly a Fw 190 A, a BMW motor was recovered in 1946/47
crew: pilot bailed out savely
location: about 20 kms SSE of Koblenz, 5 kms NE of St. Goarshausen
cause: engine failure (after aerial combat?)

The pilot mentioned that his unit was based "near Brussels", he tried to reach an airfield in the Mainz-Wiesbaden area. Maybe this could be an indication of a JG 26 a/c, some parts of this unit were based in the Brussel area during this period.
It was definitly not the a/c of Fw. Erhard Bruhnke (1./JG 1), he died in his Fw 190 A-5 some kms NW of this crashplace in the vincinity of Dachsenhausen at 31. August 1943.

Every idea about an unit of this a/c would be interesting for me...

I have the following that seem to fit the criteria roughly (out of the 117 FW 190 damage reports I have registered for the unit during this period), I have not used any time to filter against geographical area, but this is at least a starting point on which you can search further:

These were the losses that popped out using the following criteria:

Dates: From 01.08.1943 to 01.11.1943
Unit: JG 26
Loss degree: Total loss = aircraft not recovered
Personell loss: None or pilot missing

thank you very much for your reply and all your efforts. Parts of the a/c were recovered, but as it seems, only the parts lying overground. F.e., the engine was found in a depth of about 3 meters after the war. Would it be a big problem for you to change the search criterias for this period into
-unknown unit
-but with locations like St. Goarshausen or Dachsenhausen?

AFAIK, there were not more than about four single-engined a/c lost in this area during this period at the right side of the Rhine river, near the intersection point of Planquadrat QQ-2,3,5 and 6.
These were:
-Fw. Bruhnke, 1./JG 1, 31.08, Fw-190 A-5, 4-5 kms W of Dachsenhausen
-Uffz. Dom, 12./JG 3, 06.11., Bf 109 G-6, between Kaub and Dörscheid
-a belly landing of an a/c of unknown type and unit, near Nastätten
-and mentioned Fw 190

This is all I could find, including informations from books, historians, local archives, eyewitnesses and church registers. The only source I couldn't check was the BA Freiburg...
