7/KG76
Hello I am looking for some information.
During the periods from March 1940 until June 1941, what were the targets of this Geschwader. Also I am looking into a crewmember who was either killed or died of wounds. his name was Friedrich Geishofer I believe he may have been a Bordfunker. and he was in this geschwader. thanks in advance. |

Re: 7/KG76
Very general question.
III./KG 76 was involved in the campaign against France in May-June 1940, and later in the Battle of Britain and subsequent night Blitz until the end of 1940, when it returned to Germany. It returned to France between April and 7 June 1941, probably to participate in the heavy raids on UK in spring 1941. It then went east to take part in the invasion of the USSR. |

Re: 7/KG76
Name does not come up after a quick look in KG 76 losses in Battle of France, Battle of Britain, Blitz or VDK
