Thanks Franck!

Our good "old friend" WNF built Bf 109 G-8 W.Nr. 230 785 "Gelbe 11", at Fritzlar, Summer 1945. Collection James Crow, published in Janowicz 2008, p. 36.

Cheers
Marc

And some nice shots from Dessau airfield too, thanks Franck!

See attached photo - Is this the Ju 390 prototype?

(And why I am not able to post links any longer?)

Welcome Guys!

Strange thing on TOCH too when posting links. Started when I was in China. Same thing here. Try what I've done:
Put the link, erase http, then enter. I don't know why but it works and the link appears WITH http.

It's magic!!!

Re: eBay: Bf109G-8 "Gelbe 11".

Hello everyone,

If you go to ebay and look on the seller’s site, you’ll see an array of photos from a 3rd AD veteran. Among them is a stunning Ju88G-6 with FuG220 Morgenstern radar, including the pointed nose cone with a clear cap. It is backed into a hangar at Dessau. I contacted the seller because I couldn’t find it in his listing. He told me that it had already been sold.

Anyone know who snagged it? It must be nice to be among the “in-crowd” who apparently receive early warnings of some of these special photos.

A very frustrated,

Steve Sheflin

Don't know who got it, but guess who asked him too .. Anyway, the seller promised he will auction off more photos from Dessau tonight. Waiting very very eagerly ...

Re: eBay: Bf109G-8 "Gelbe 11".

Did anyone catch the Ju-88, Wknr 622621 with "V10/R" below it? I also found the burnt out Fw.190 with the Wknr 4?3117 painted on the front lower cowling rather interesting.

Re: eBay: Bf109G-8 "Gelbe 11".

And some other interesting stuff:

Ju 390 GH+UK:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/291142888352...ht_2097wt_1153

Ju 252 DE+??:

Ju 88 G-7 ?:

Honestly, I was also hoping for more photos of the Ju 288s and the Jumo 213 testbed-Ju 52, which were left at Dessau, but perhaps one other time.

Not all the photos are from Dessau though - some were taken at Fritzlar...

Cheers,
Christian

Re: eBay: Bf109G-8 "Gelbe 11".

EDIT: Just saw the large canopy frame on the "Ju 88 G-7" wreck - So forget the G-7 theory; its probably a Jumo-equipped Ju 388..
