Help on D-Day Stukas

On June 6, 1944 the 355th ambushed approx 15-20 JU 87's (near Janville) on the way to the beaches around 2100.. Does anybody know the KG id and what losses the Luftwaffe recorded for that mission?

Re: Help on D-Day Stukas

Einsatz.St. of SG 103, a training unit, recorded 9 losses that day, all near Voves. On the surface this would seem unlikely as Voves is SW of Paris and Janville is near the beaches at Normany. However, there are no other Stuke losses listed that day, recognizing, of course, that many 1944 records are missing.

Re: Help on D-Day Stukas

any record of 'damaged' as 4+ were claimed on the ground after 9 air? and thanks for the quick feedback!

What are your sources for LW losses?

Thank You,

Bill
