Seeking, photos, crash location and crew positions for Blenheim IV N6151 SD by Flak or fighters during 12.05.40 attack on Maastercht Bridges

Hello,

We've recently updated our entry on the loss of this a/c for the EoE Project:

"12 May 1940 RAF Bomber Command 15 SQUADRON, ALCONBURY: Blenheim IV N6151. Shot down by flak or Bf109s of I./JG1 and 2./JG27 during attack on bridges at Maastricht, Netherlands at 9.25 a.m. Sergeant Frank Russell Pepper, Sergeant Raymond Booth, and LAC John Scott all baled out and captured. Aircraft a write-off."

Can anyone supply a specific crash location, any crash photos, a/c code, and/or duty positions of crewmen aboard this a/c?

Any help is appreciated.

Can only do the easy bit

Sgt Pepper was the pilot - the ORB follows normal RAF practice and lists crews by pilot name. Sgt Booth observer and Scott, based on his rank, air gunner.

ORB notes Pepper was made POW, therefore it might be worth looking for a POW release file.

Regards

Martin

Martin,

Thanx for this. Now we still need a specific crash location and hopefully some photos of the crash site. Anybody got these?
