Luftwaffe propeller markings
Hello all
Could anyone tell me what these markings on the base of a relic german propeller indicate, such as aircraft type ect. Many thanks.. Last edited by harri109; 30th December 2019 at 15:29. |

Re: Luftwaffe propeller markings
Sadly, there is not enough information on that part to tell you. It is not from any of the main aircraft from what I can tell.

Re: Luftwaffe propeller markings
Hi Harri109,
I can say that it is not from an me109 E or F. It has the standard typical shape of the blade ripped from the boss in a crash the shape of the bottom of the aluminium circular insert being misshaped. Perhaps it could be Jumo 211. Perhaps Stuka, Heinkel or Dornier etc. Do you have a picture of the whole blade? Sometimes the shape can help narrow it down a little. What information do you have from this crashed baled? |
