Me.110's lost to 1Sq. on 11/5/40...
I'm reading They flew Hurricane's by Adrian Stewart, and he quote's Paul Richey's Fighter Pilot about 5 of 1Sq pilots shooting down 10 of 15 Me.110's who were providing cover for 30 Do.17's. He states-
Flt.lt J.Walker 1 possibly 2. Fly.Off Brown 2. " Kilmartin 2. " Richey 2. Flt.Sgt Soper 2. Villagers of Rumigny saw 10 crash around the village, After the war German record's say only 2 were lost, even U.K after the war appraisals don't agree, can anyone provide the 10 Me.110's?

According to BofF T&N, ZG 1 lost one destroyed by Flak, two damaged; ZG 2 lost 2 to 501 & 1 Sqns; ZG 26 lost 2 to 1 Sqn.
