Re: Blohm und Voss W/Nrs

Hi Tom ,
informations about Bv 141 Wnr`s are here :

http://www.geocities.com/asymmetrics/bv141.htm

30 Airframes of Bv141 are wrong , only 26 A and B versions were built .
What is your source for the other Wnr - blocks ?

regards ,

Re: Blohm und Voss W/Nrs

Hi Starmountain

The source for the W/Nr blocks is Wikepedia; I would like to know what their source was and if it was correct.

I know that the Do 23G W/nrs are correct as I have W/nrs within this range. But I would like to check up on the Ju W34 W/nrs to see if these also are accurate.

Mr Vajde who wrote the German Production 1933-45 book wrote to me saying that 100 BV 141As were ordered and 30 were partially built before the order was scrapped. I think that these were then converted into Type Bs. But they must have had an original W/nr assignement before conversion.

However, my initial concern and querry is about the Ju W34s.

Thanks

Regards
