Fw 200......CB + FA

Good evening,

I have in my collection a picture of the above mentioned a/c. All I have been able to find in my books and internet is that it belonged to zbV. 107 in April 1940.(LBB)
Does anyone know more about this plane, type, name, crew, fate etc. ? I would like to build a model of it.

Thank you in advance,

Christian

I cannot find any record of a loss for CB+FA but CB+FB/D-ABOD was lost with 4/KGzbV 107 in an accident at Berlin-Staaken 22 April 40

Christian

In Bo Widfeldts books about LW aircrafts that ended up in Sweden during WW2 there are pictures and a full account of what happend to D-ARHW Friesland the 29/11 1944. The pictures of it are in Lufthansa markings. It is belived that it was shot down by a german patrolboat and all 4 Lufthansa crew and 6 passangers died, 7 of them were recovered and 3 are stillmissing.

Best Regards
Peter

Re: Fw 200......CB + FA

With regard to the codes of WNr 2994 I have never heard of the Stkz CB+FA.

As far as I know this aircraft changed, over and over again, between Luft Hansa and Luftwaffe (and within Luftwaffe as well) and even though I have no dates, the serials/registrations were given as follows:
D-ARHW, CB+TY, D-ARHW, CB+TY, F8+EU, CB+TY, F8+NV and D-ARHW

The KG 40 code F8+HH (as listed by Nowarra) was not mentioned.

I think it was either at this site or the old LEMB that this information was given.

Can anyone clarify the exact situation, please?

Cheers
Stig

Yes Gogh

I can see the Stkz existed, but that in itself does not link it to WNr 2994, does it?

Cheers
