Denmark Grave locations
Good day, gentlemen,
My inquiry is to the occupants of the thirty or so unaccounted/unidentified graves at the Lemvig and Ebsjerg Fourfelt cemeteries in Denmark. This is in hope that the grave of P.O. Ian Holloway, the 2nd pilot of Stirling BK698 of 149 Sqn has been identified. One crew member's body was washed up and buried at Lemvig cemetery. The aircraft was lost on 20th April 1943 on a trip to Rostock. It is suspected that the aircraft ditched off Ringkobing. Many thanks for information. Alan Fraser. 149 Historian. |
