I am looking pilot of Bf 109 g-6 Wn 161460 lost 16/04/44 in central italy,

What is your source for this loss? I don't have it in my database. None of the recorded WNr. are close, but II./JG 77 did record a loss in Italy for that date, but there is no WNr. listed with the loss.

I also have witnesses and the story of his killing, although in the diary of the enemy pilots is not. The German driver was saved by jumping out.
If you want, I can fit everything.

The more "funny" of the story is that among bits-nd-tits you hv found the Serial-plate, some people hv founded 90 % of a plane, but not the plate !!!

By the way , no news from the He219 found in the waters Denmark ??

I can add that this Bf 109 was manufactured between January and March 1944. I have a couple losses around this Werknumber for II./JG 77 and III./JG 53 in February 1944. So this one could have been manufactured in January 1944.

All I have for that day is that 41 sorties were flown by Nahkampfkorps Süd. No mention of any losses or of the units involved.
