20 April 1945: N° 3 Sqdn vs Fw 190 D-9
The famous French ace Pierre Clostermann claimed 2 "Doras" near Lake Dummer, south of Hamburg, in the evening of 20 April 1945.
Has anyone any clue as to which LW unit they belonged to? Thanks. Chris

Hi Chris,
From AIR 40/2373: "1934-1956: 1 or 2 Gruppen of JG 26 operated, possibly in the Boitzenburg/Hagenow area. A/c set course at 1937. At 1952 Allied fighters were sighted below, and there was evidence of combat." Cheers, Andrew A. Air War Publications - www.airwarpublications.com/earticles
