A question about flammenbombe
During the first raid on Moscow the Luftwaffe dropped a flammenbombe that ricocheted off of the Kremlin wall and fell in the area of the Commandant's Tower and spilling oil over an area of 60 square meters before igniting. What type of bomb was this ? Could it have been a Flam 250 ?
Thanks in advance Oquaig |

Re: A question about flammenbombe
The Flam C 250 should produce a flame of 15-20 m diameter and the Flam C 500 a flame of 30-40 m diameter. The time of burning should be 10-15 secs. So it is possible it could have been a bomb of this two types.
