Wink B-17, MACR 771- 4 Oct 1943

On 04 Oct 1943, the B-17, 42-3538 - 94th BG (MACR 771) was shot down and I have two crash locations REIMS/France and WESEL/Germany. Which one is correct. Wesel seem very unlikely since it is far off the planned track.
