Announcement: Royal Yugoslav Air Force and Naval Aviation Web Page
Today is the 65th anniversary of the Axis assault on Yugoslav Kingdom. Campaign was finished in just twelve days and Yugoslav Kingdom ceased to exist, its territories being torn apart. Just few months later armed uprising broke out all across country, followed by four years of brutal fighting.
With the help of my friends from AIRSERBIA and many others, I’ve been preparing a web site dedicated to Royal Yugoslav Air Force and Naval Aviation, whose members bravely fought the German invasion, more than 140 of them losing their life in aerial operations during the April War. I was hoping that the web site would be more complete by this day, but unfortunately due to numerous obligations this is not the case. The only part completed so far is the list of RYAF and NA casualties during the April War http://vvkj.airserbia.com/poginuli_aprilski_rat.php and, although partially, the index of aircraft in service with the RYAF and NA: http://vvkj.airserbia.com/avioni/index.php The site is still under construction but hopefully new photos, articles and themes will follow soon placed. Re: Announcement: Royal Yugoslav Air Force and Naval Aviation Web Page
Unfortunately, there aren't any Bf 108 left here, even the photos of Yugoslav Bf 108's are very rare.
