Crash location 156 Sqn Lancaster ED615 4/5 April 1943; at Rosenfeld?

Dear all,

Who can confirm the crash location of 156 Squadron Lancaster ED615 on 4/5 April 1943; was this at Rosenfeld? I have a Flak claim of the 1. Marine Flak Regiment for a Lancaster at Rosenfeld on this night, which could fit the loss of ED615.

Cheers and thanks for any details, Theo

Good evening Theo

There is an entry in the Luftgaukommando books which gives Rosenfeld as a Lancaster Crash Location. Unfortunately without a s/n. The entry is as follows:

4 Apr 43 2308 Avro Lancaster Rosenfeld near Pretz 110327/110332

Good luck !

Hallo Delmenhorst

Ich bezog mich nur auf den Ortsnamen Preetz! Rosenfeld , nähe Preetz, ziehe ich auch nicht in Zweifel. Was ist das für eine Skizze? Funkmessbeobachtung?
