If my memory serves me well, Eric "Winkle" Brown wrote a "View from the cockpit" for Air International on the Blackburn Botha.
I would be most indebted to anyone who could tell me the issue number in which it was published.

Col. beat me on Taylor's article.
In Aeroplane there was a large 16 pages Database article on Botha in the Feb 2013 issue, It incl. also commets of test pilots. In much older Aeroplane Monthly Jan 1999 there was a seven pages article on Botha flight testing in the "Tested and Failed" series.

The Botha is covered in Chapter 8 of Brown's 1994 book, "Testing for Combat". Perhaps this is what you had in mind.
