Plagis Victims

Hello to you all, especially the Regia Aeronautica experts. Im looking information for Italian John Plagis victims while in Malta in order to make their aircraft profiles for my new book. Specifically Johnny had the following kills.

11 May 1942: MC202 manœuvre kill - Unknown unit and pilot
17 May 1942: MC202 damaged - Unknown unit and pilot
06 June 1942: 2o Gruppo CT, Re.2001 (MM7228) - Pilot Ten Giuseppe Baraldi
06 June 1942: 2o Gruppo CT, Re.2001 (MM7228) - Pilot Serg Magg Aldo Geminiani

I found how the Re.2001 look like but i don't know their individual number in fuselage. Any info also about the pilots will be deeply appreciated

Kind regards
Dimitris

Hi Dimitris,

here some addings about what you are looking for:

11 May 1942: not C.202 but Re2001 from 2°Gruppo CT. Italian actually suffered no losses.
17 May: not C.202 but Re2001 from 2°Gruppo CT
6 June: RAF claimed 3; 154a Sq. 2° Gr. lost 2: Ten G. Baraldi (MM7228) and SM A. Geminiani (MM7223) both KIA.

I can help you about planes from 2°Gr. Contact me by PM.

Regards

Flavio
