KG 26 Operations in February 1944

I would like to know more about the actions launched in February 1944 by KG26 in the mediterranean area (attacks against allied ships)

I am particularly interested in the fate of the He 111 H-11LT, 8402, 1H+AK reported missing on 12/2/44 (crew known thanks to Matti);

Hello,

according the book of Alexander Steenbeck "Die Spur des Löwen", the 1H+AK (whose WNr is indicated as 8403 ; I don't know if the good one is 8402 or 8403) did not come back from an attack on the allied landing fleet before Anzio / Nettuno on 12 february 1944 ; no more detail is given.
