Zero from 263 Kokutai, Hyo Butai, Matsuyama

At left is Tomokazu KASAI, a wingman of ACE Shoichi SUGITA (who was one of the six escorts of Admiral YAMAMOTO on 18 Apr 1943). At right is Nobuo TANI who is one of five "Shikishima Tai" pilots of the first Kamikaze Attack in Phillipine on Oct. 25, 1944.
The background Zero is from the 263 Kokutai, Hyo Butai (豹部隊), Matsuyama Base. It is overall gray color with the black Kanji letter "HYO" as the first part of the tail code.
