What do we have for that day onto the book "A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945: Volume 1"?

...and was the ORB of 274 Squadron checked for that entry...maybe there is the confirmation that the machine was shot down by tanks or AA fire.

ORB says "Shot down by ground fire".

AIR 81/6487 says Hurricane V6633, ORB says Hurricane W9302.

Unfortunately the relevant AM78 cards don't offer any clues.
Both aircraft were SOC on 22.5.41, with exactly the same source annotation on their card, in the same handwriting:
"SIG Q90 22.5 from ME"
The other aircraft was flown by F/O Noel Agazarian.
