Romanian He 114

Hello,

Can anyone provide details of the losses of the Romanian He 114 No.4 and No.5 on the 23.04.1944 and the He 114 No.25 on the 12.05.1944?

Thanks
Oleg

Re: Romanian He 114

Hi Oleg,
- No. 25 took off for an escort mission on 12.05.44 from Siutghiol lake, and due to a pilot error it crashed in the same lake, only the engine and some parts were recovered, crew with minor injuries.
- No. 4 was returning from a recce mission over the Black Sea, together with another 3 He 114's. While waiting to land the pilot did two dive maneuvers over a ship as a stunt I guess, he could not recover from the second one and crashed, pilot died on the spot and the observer three days later.

Will check further for No. 5
