Was Oblt. Hans-Jürgen Ehrig Staka on 18th May 1940 ?

No. It was Hargimont. St.Aubin was homebase of I(J)/LG2 from 19.05.40 till 23.05.40.

Have you by chance Teil 4/I ? I cannot find Ehrig´s second WWII claims which should be mentioned in this Teil.

Hi,


he had only 1 kill (this claimed on 18.05.40) because he was shot down and taken POW over Britain.

Robert,

Yes he was shot down and c/l at Tenderen, England on 31/8/40.
Sources mention three victories. One in Spain with Legion Condor, one on the 18/5/40 and third ???
