Hello.

I'm trying to find out any information on an Me262 pilot that was active in the closing Months of World War Two.

His name was Fritz Stehle and he was a pilot in JG7. As far as I know he survived the war...I'd love to see if anyone has a period photo of him or any other information pertaining to him.

Hallo

Friedrich Stehle was the last Staffelkapitan of 1./JG7, and the acting Kommandeur of I./JG7 from 5th April 1945 until 10th April 1945. Probably received the DKiG in late 1944. He survived the war, after which he joined the Syrian airforce as a trainer, then joined Lufthansa. He died in October 2008.

His claims listed were all acheived as an Oberleutnant!

that's very kind of you...but what I would really like to know is if a period picture of him exists and where or who I would need to speak to find combat claims for the date of March 31st 1945....
