Crashlanded Me109G in Norway, 1944
Well...this bird is a mystery for me.
According to local sources this Me109G "10" made an emergency landing at Kragerö in southern Norway around autumn 1944. Judging from the photos it looks like a 10-20% damage landing. Perhaps the machine belonged to IV./JG 5? I know of the mediocre status of loss reports from this time of the war, but perhaps one of you that are dissecting ULTRA-reports after Luftwaffe losses has stumbled across this incident? Sorry about the long time frame (ca july - october 1944) and quality of photos. Searching for any information regarding the Pilot, Wnr. and unit
