Link trainer
Hello Gentlemen!
Is it possible that the "LINK"-Trainer was used at german flight schools? I´ve got a picture showing a "LINK"-Trainer modell C, perhaps used by JG 106. Thank you in advance. Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben, Wolfgang Last edited by GrafWolf; 10th March 2019 at 21:54. |

Re: Link trainer
ON pages 50 to 53 is an article on training Luftwaffe pilots. This is from the March 1944 issue of Flying Magazine. On page page 52 in the center column is the statement that the Luftwaffe used the Link Trainer to train prospective bomber pilots in blind flying.
https://books.google.com/books?id=Y9...rainer&f=false On this next link is the statement that "Link Trainers were also sold to France and Germany - a Luftwaffe bomber pilot of 1940 had spent 50 hours in a Link Trainer!" https://www.aviationmuseum.net/Flighttraining.htm |
