JU88 landed at Oakington Sept 19th 1940
Hi,
Looking for details please on the JU88 that landed at RAF Oakington on the above date. Unit, pilot, the cause would be of great interest. TIA Steve

Flugzeugführer Uffz Zschecked (Zscheked?), Hans-Jürgen, gefangen Beobachter Lt Knab, Helmut, gefangen Bordfunker Uffz Thoring, Josef, gefangen Bordschütze Ogfr Bresch, Erich, gefangen Notlandung infolge Motorstörung. Bruch 100 %. Matti

Port engine failed and apparently slightly damaged by RAF fighters after which it belly landed at Oakington 1500 hrs. There are a number of photos of this aircraft after it was put back onto its wheels and at RAE
