Michel
The following claims for P-47 were made by Luftwaffe pilots on the 18th of November 1944. 18. November 1944 18.11.44 - 2./NAG 13 P-47 £ Location: at 2.500 m. 10.51 18.11.44 Obfhr. Buchholz 9./JG 2 P-47 £ QT-3: 3.500 m. [Spessart] 12.36 18.11.44 Oblt. Siegfried Lemke Stab III./JG 2 P-47 £ QT-4: 2.500 m. [Spessart] 12.36 18.11.44 Ltn. Rolf Bischoff Stab III./JG 2 P-47 £ QT-4: 3.500 m. [Spessart] 12.37 Supplemental Claims from Sources : JG 53: 18.11.44 Uffz. Weitzel: 4 5./JG 53 P-47 In total they claimed 7 aircraft for the day, 4 of them being P-47. This lookes like a not to busy day. The claims are taken from the Tony Wood database. Of course their can also be claims by Falk units for that day. Considering the nature and timing of the P-47 claims it seem to be from one operation, possibly the 56 FG. I do not know the meaning of Spessart ant QT-3/4, maybe an other forum member can fill you in on this. No further information at the moment. succes Goos
