Dietrich Rentschler,DKG
I found little information about Lt. Dietrich Rentschler on "Luftwaffe Officer's Career Summaries". Said only that Rentschler was awarded the German Cross in Gold (DKG) on 12.12.42 while serving with the Stab/KG77. Can anyone provide more information of this bomber pilot? Was he recommended for the Knight's Cross later in WWII?

You say recommended (as before)-I fear that records of being recommended are very hard to find if they existed at all
