46 Sqn Sep 44

Has anyone any idea of the Beaufighter operations flown by 46 Sqn 4-5 Sep 44?

Thought so-all the other Sqns (603, 252, 227, 16 SA) were anti-shipping/strike whilst the only other N/F sqn was 108. Hopefully 46 shot down this mystery Ju 88 I am interested in...I live in hope!

Re: 46 Sqn Sep 44

Hi Chris

My records don't show a claim for 46 Squadron on that date - I will have a double-check when I am at the PRO tomorrow.

Cheers
Brian

Re: 46 Sqn Sep 44

Hi Chris

46 squadron was scrambled that night but evidently no contact! I have copied details from ORB in will pop them in the post, together with 152/609 notes for 28/11/40.

Cheers
Brian
