B-25 Mitchell in French service
Does somebody have detailed information (in any language), eventually with photos about the Mitchells (Mk.III) in the newly-formed after WW II French air force (Armée de l'Air)? The aircraft were operated by GB I/20 after the war, some being converted from bomber configuration into fast VIP transports. They were finally struck off charge in June of 1947.

Re: B-25 Mitchell in French service
hello Yves,
If I recall. there was an article either in Air enthusiast Bi monthly or Air Pictorial some time ago. The serial numbers of all known French B25's was listed therin. If you haven't got the books perhaps some kind sole could look it up for you. Alex |
