Me 210's of N.J.G.101 damaged on 21.07.1944

Hi, guys.

According to the GenQu lists, the following Me 210's were reported as damaged by N.J.G.101 on July 21st 1941, after a bombing attack on the airfield at Memmingen. Some of these Werkenummern does not fit into the ranges given in the publication by Mankau and Petrick.

The WNr are:

130046 Not in any 'valid' range, should be 150046?

150018 Me 210 Ca-1?
150045 Me 210 Ca-1?
150079 Me 210 Ca-1?
150081 Me 210 Ca-1?
150083 Me 210 Ca-1?

110054 Not in any 'valid' range
110252 Not in any 'valid' range

Anyone got any ideas or other sources on this??

Regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas

The following should help:

Built by Messerschmitt at Augsburg:

210.011.0017 - 210.011.0110 Type A-0

210.011.0111 - 210.011.0286 Type A-1

Hungarian Production: Type Ca-1a

210.150011 - 210.150090

The odd 130046 is a tipo for 150046

My sources are Allied Intelligence Reports on German aircraft at vatious a/f throughout Germany

I cannot locate the exact Itelligence Reports to give their respective Numbers/References as these are still packed away due my moving house recently

Hope this helps

Re: Me 210's of N.J.G.101 damaged on 21.07.1944

Andreas,

according to the book "A Dunai Repülőgépgyár Rt. története" by Lajos Kováts these were Me 210 Ca-1's pruduced by Donau Flugzeugbau Aktiengesellschaft AG. during 1943-1944.

210.150018 PD+VH (Dunai c/n: 210.064) handed over for the Luftwaffe on December 1, 1943.
210.150045 PH+JI (Dunai c/n: 210.121)
210.150046 PH+JJ (Dunai c/n: 210.122)
210.150081 DR+OA (Dunai c/n: 210.193)

and:
210.150079 most probably CJ+QY (Dunai c/n: 210.189?)
210.150083 most probably DR+OC (Dunai c/n: 210.197)

Does the GenQu lists contains tactical markings or squadron numbers these planes belongs to?

Hope this helps.
Peter
