De Havilland Test Pilot - Tsetse Mosquito

In Graham Simmons - Mosquito P&S book he mentions on p.141 a "David King" of de Havilland going on test flight at Boscombe Down - sadly no date given. Trawled the archive and found a "Scott King" DH Test pilot in 1943 and subsequently flying DH Vampires in late 1949 to 1951

Has anyone come across a David Scott ? relating to DH or can I presume GS has got the christen name wrong ?
