Re: info Focke-Wulf 190

You are really in the wrong part of the forum for Fw 190s but 210239 was an aircraft of 6./JG 26, shot down on 9 March 1945, crash landed South of Wesel. Pilot, Uffz. Fritz Hanusch.

Information from Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D camouflage & markings Part I by Marc Deboeck, Eric Larger & Tomas Poruba (JaPo, 2005)

Hi Michel,

At 16.20 II gruppe took of from Nordhorn to support de army at Remagen. Over Wesel they clashed with the 366FG. The Germans claimed 4 P-47s. One actually by Hanusch. After his victory Hanusch had to bail out with sever injuries. I dont think he was captured.

Hope this helps,

Dennis
