Heinkel He.59 DS+KA

Gentlemen,

I'm looking for the Werknummer of He.59 DS+KA. Unfortunatley it isn't mentioned in the latest list of Stammkenzeichen.

Thanks in advance,
Hans Nauta

Re: Heinkel He.59 DS+KA

He 59D DS+KA had W.Nr. 1522 and was built in a series of 20 He 59D by Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke in Rostock. Its initial registration in Seenotdienst was D-AHIK until replaced by DS+KA in July/August 1940.
The aircraft was lost 08.09.1943 when it crashed into the sea off Hungerburg during a training flight. All five onboard were killed. DS+KA then belonged to 4. Seenotstaffel at Norderney.
