Armament Fw 190G-3

Can somebody tell me more about the armament of an Fw 190G-3? I know they had 2x MG151/20 in the wingroot, but was it also possible they had 2x MG 131? Could they be modified in the field to carry this additional 13 mm guns?

Thanks,

John

Re: Armament Fw 190G-3

Hello John,

in the FLUGZEUG-BAUREIHEN-BLATT Fw 190 edited by Chef TLR (= Chef der Technischen Luftrüstung) on 1 Aug 1944 are listed
Fw 190 G-3 (SK) = Schnellkampfflugzeug
Bewaffnung 2 MG 151/20 je 220 Schuß

Fw 190 G-3/R-5 (S) = Schlachtflugzeug. Für Schlachtfliegereinsatz umgerüstet aus G-3.
Bewaffnung 2 MG 151/20 je 220 Schuß + 2 MG 131 je 475 Schuß.

Regards
Leo
