Does anyone know the fate of Ju 52 BD+OQ and Ju 88 F6+LH?

Re: Aircraft fate

Stefan,

Regarding the Ju 88 F6+LH - which one? I have four losses with that code recorded in the AufklGr. 122 Diary.

Re: Aircraft fate

Was this combat related or not Andy?
Exact loss place? Somewhere in Greece I presume?

If the loss was a non-combat related one, it is not included in the MAW series
Not sure exactly where they draw the line so to speak, but this is probably one of them.

Cheers
Stig

PS: Was the BF really wounded two days later? I can understand his wounds might have been worse than originally thought and he was hospitalized two days later...

Re: Aircraft fate

Leo/Rémi

Thanks a lot for your input. I misinterpreted 'erlegen' to mean something else.

So it was classified as a combat mission after all.
Thus should be in MAW after all, unless the incident happened on the outbound journey.
