Fighter Activity over UK 6/7th June 1943
Hi,
A 620 Squadron Stirling was attacked twice by a 'fighter' while on a 'Bullseye' flight on the above date. The info I have been given suggests it was over the English coast. Was there any Germans units operating over England at this time? TIA Steve

Day or night? Too early for V./KG 2 if night and unlikely to be I./SKG 10 unless you can give a location

Are you sure of the date. 620 Sqn did not form until 17.06.43

Too early for V./KG 2 and I have no recorded missions for I./SKG 10. Normal night fighters tended to operate over German-held territory. Trouble is no shoot down=no claim
